On the peak leaf watching weekend of the fall, runners from all over, will converge on Camp Daniel Boone, nestled below the famous Cold Mountain in Western North Carolina. This area is known for its beautiful fall colors and challenging trail runs. This is your chance to experience both.
Camp Daniel Boone in fall
The entire camp has been reserved for the weekend. Your camping reservation includes your choice of a tent spot or a rustic sleeping cabin that sleeps 4. Bathhouses and showers will be available all weekend.
Rustic Sleeping Cabins have 2 sets of bunk beds and sleep 4
Come and enjoy the private trails and camps created and maintained by the Daniel Boone Council of the Boy Scouts of America which all proceeds will benefit.

4:30 pm – Registration and Check in for 1 Mile Hill Climb
6:00 pm – 1 Mile Hill Climb

8:30 am – Day of Registration Opens for 6k Trail Run
10:00 am 6k Trail Run Start
4:30 pm Community Meal Starts
Sunday October 25th
8:00 am – Day of Registration for 15k Trail Race and 2.5k Kids Run Opens
9:00 am – 2.5k Kids Trail Race Begins
10:00 am – 15k Trail Race Begins
2:00 pm – Camp Check Out
